"Stop Crying Your Heart Out" is a 2002 song belonging to the English rock band OASIS.

It’s part of the band’s fifth album, "Heathen Chemistry" and was written by Noel Gallagher.

The song was recorded at the Wheeler End Studios and Olympic Studios in England.

"Stop Crying Your Heart Out" is a power ballad which features Noel and Liam Gallagher as the lead vocalists.

Because of their similarities, the song was often compared to some previous Oasis tracks: "Slide Away" and "Don’t Look Back In Anger".

The motivational power ballad has a length of 5:05 minutes and a very beautiful melodic structure. David Treahearn was responsible for engineering it and Mark Stent for mixing it.

It’s composed in B Minor and uses approximately 76 beats per minute.

The track ranked number 2 in the UK Single Charts, number 1 in Italy and reached top twenty in Finland, Belgium, Denmark and Norway. It sold over 200 thousand copies and was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry.

In 2010, "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" re-entered the charts for the third time and it went from number 2, to number 21 and then rose up once again at number 18.

It gained success in Europe as well as it reached top 40 in the Austrian Singles Chart following numerous ups and downs. In Belgium, it reached number 13 and stayed there for three weeks. It also peaked number 17 in Danish Singles Chart, number 6 on the Irish Singles Chart and top 30 on the Swedish Singles Chart.

Guitar was played by Noel Gallagher, piano by Gem Archer, drums by Alan White, bass by Andy Bell and the lead vocals by Noel and Liam Gallagher.
