Avicii - Wake Me Up sheet music

"Wake Me Up" is the first single to be released by the the Swedish music producer, Avicii.

The song is part of their debut album, "True", which was released in 2013.

The song was written by Mike Eizinger, Aloe Blacc, Tim Bergling and Aileen Quinn.

"Wake Me Up" was a huge commercial success. It sold millions of copies and it topped most of the charts worldwide.

The song was certified four times platinum by the RIAA, after selling more than 4 million copies, 9 times platinum in Australia, 7 times platinum in Norway, five times platinum in Sweden and Germany, four times platinum in Italy, three times platinum in Switzerland and double platinum in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Austria, Mexico, Denmark and Belgium.

The vocals were provided by Aloe Blacc and Mike Eizinger, the acoustic guitar.

"Wake Me Up" was produced by Avicii, alongside Mike Shinoda and Arash Pournouri.

The song was released on June 17th, 2013 as a CD single and also for digital download. It is a mixture of the genres soul, EDM and folktronica. The single was performed live at the Ultra Music Festival, in 2013, in Miami.

An acoustic version of the single was released by Blacc on his EP, "Wake Me Up".

The single received the music critics' acclaim, being described as a "summer anthem".

It was number one on almost all of the charts which it entered, including Billboard's "Adult Alternative Songs", "Mainstream Top 40", "Adult Top 40", "Hot Dance Club Songs" and "Hot Dance/Electronic Songs".

The music video for the single was released on June 28th 2013, via YouTube, after the lyrics video. Being shot in Santa Clara River, it has, up until this day, more than 420 000 000 views on the channel.

"Wake Me Up" is surely one of the greatest songs to have been released in the past years and also a public's favorite.
