"You" is a song from the American duo "The Carpenters".
It is part of their seventh studio album, "A Kind Of Hush", that was recorded in 1976. The song was released in May, the same year, along with the album.
It also contained hits such as "There's A Kind Of Hush (All Over The World)", which topped the charts in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom, "Goofus", which reached the Billboard charts and "I Need To Be In Love", a single that reached number 25 in the United States and 36 in the United Kingdom.
