Queen is the British rock band, formed in London in 1970, made out of four members: Freddie Mercury – lead vocals and piano, Brian May – guitar and vocals, Roger Taylor – drums and vocals, and John Deacon – bass.
They sang mostly rock, hard rock, and heavy metal music genres, starting from 1970 until the present.
The band’s estimated record sales outcome is 300 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
They received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music from the British Phonographic Industry, the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors and in 2018, they were presented the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Today we are talking about a special song by Queen, named All Dead, All Dead.
The song was written for Brian May, the vocalist, and pianist of the band. The story behind the lyrics refers to Brian’s experience with the death of his childhood cat.
The event hurt him so much that he thought of ending his life.
The free All Dead, All Dead piano sheet music is a piano ballad, it has a length of 3:10 minutes and it is considered to belong to the ballad and rock music genres.
The song was released in 1977 and it was labeled by EMI.
The song has only Freddie Mercury on backing vocals and an easy piano melodic line.
The song has also a Spanish version, composed by Fito Paez in 1996, named Se fue.
This version was included in the album Tributo a Queen: Los grandes del rock en Espanol.
The free All Dead, All Dead piano sheets have also a hybrid music video version, made out of animation, with a black cat running over the words that form the lyrics of the song.
It is an easy song to be playing at your piano on a Saturday afternoon.
