"A Sky Full of Stars" is the title of a song by the English rock band Coldplay, used as single number two for the album "Ghost Stories" from 2014.
It was their sixth album. The single was released on the second of May, 2014 and made available as a CD single and as a digital download. It was recorded at The Bakery and The Beehive in London, United Kingdom. The song also had a radio edit version. The label that released the song was the Parlophone one.
The writing team consisted of Guy Berryman, Will Champion, Tim Bergling, Jonny Buckland and Chris Martin. It was produced by a team made of Avicii, Paul Epworth, Rik Simpson, Daniel Green and the band’s members.

This performance was followed by another one on "Saturday Night Live", in May. In the United Kingdom, it was played on "The Graham Norton Show".
