It was used as a single on the album "I Look to You", which was album number seven for Houston. This pop song had influences of soul and R&B into it and has a length of 4 minutes and 26 seconds. It was performed by Amber Riley and this version started off at rank 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, on the 23rd of October, year 2010. In 2012, on the 18th of February, R. Kelly played the song for the funeral of Whitney Houston, at the New Hope Baptist Church.
The location was New Jersey, Newark. The entire ceremony was played worldwide on television. Singer Selah also created his own version, which was included on his album number four, titled "Hope of the Broken World". The album came out in 2011. Joe McElderry also used it on his album number four, called "Here’s What I Believe".
The UK digital single and EP versions include remixes by Giuseppe D., Johnny Vicious, ChristianDio. It managed to chart moderately well worldwide as well, hitting top 20 in Switzerland and on the US Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs charts. It also reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs charts.
