"Where Them Girls At" is the title of an electro house song by French music producer David Guetta.
With rappers Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj providing vocals to the track, this song also has a hip-hop vibe to it, hitting the market as the main single from Guetta’s album number five titled "Nothing but the Beat".
"Where Them Girls At" was the lead single for his album and it was released in the summer of 2011 on the Virgin Records label, Sandy Vee aiding David with the production. There has been a large team working on the song, especially on the writing team, where Jared Cotter, Tramar Dillard, Oscar Silinas, Sandy Wilhelm, Giorgio Tuinfort and Michael Caren, as well as Onika Maraj provided their input.
Flo Rida has collaborated with David Guetta before on the rapper’s 2010 album, as well as a soundtrack for a known dance movie, "Step Up 3D". The initial version of "Where Them Girls At" included a capella vocals and was leaked to the public, hastening the release of the song as an official single.
Released on the radio in the United States very soon after its release, the single has been received with moderate praises, being called "sweet and gooey". Starting on the fourteenth place on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts, the song moved on to sell over one and a half million times in the United States.
"Where Them Girls At" received moderate to good success in the rest of the world as well, being in the top 10 in charts from countries such as Australia, Belgium, Austria, Canada, Finland, Denmark, France, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Norway, New Zealand, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom.
The single has been certified Gold in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain and UK and Platinum in Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, as well as double Platinum in Australia.
