Clarity is a song by EDM music producer Zedd, featuring English vocalist Foxes.
The song has been featured on the first studio album by the German music producer. The album is titled the same as the song, Clarity.
The track has been intended to be single number three from the album and has been released as a digital download on December 14, 2012.
The label that produced it was Interscope Records and was written by a team composed of Anton Zaslavski, Matthew Koma, Holly Hafermann and Porter Robinson. Skylar Grey also played an important part in the writing of the track.

Although the official release for Clarity was in December, an earlier version was made available on iTunes. On October 2, as a Single of the Week, the song was made available in the iTunes Store.
The EP that included the song was later released, in February 2013. Beatport also featured an extended mix of Clarity on Beatport, which was released in November 2012. While the album version lasts a total of 4 minutes and 31 seconds, the extended mix goes up to 5 minutes and 43 seconds.
Zedd decided to contact Foxes in order to provide vocals for his single after hearing one of her songs, called "Youth". The song has been covered by several minor artists, such as Jessica Sanchez, Michelle Chamuel, Rylie Brown, Ellona Santiago and Jena Irene.
The official version of Claritystarted off on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at number 86, but reached the maximum eighth rank. It has been Zedd’s greatest hit in the United States, as well as worldwide. In March 2014, it already sold well over 2 million copies. The single was awarded with the Best Dance Recording at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
There have been many remixes to Clarity as well; an official recording of four remixes was soon made available. It contained the Zedd Union Mix, the Tiesto Remix, the Style of Eye Remix and the Brillz Remix.
The "Clarity – Remixes" version released on Beatport was lengthier though, containing no less than 11 such remixes.
In addition to the other four, there has been a Headhunterz Remix, a Funkagenda Remix, a Torro Torro Remix, a Roy Rosenfeld Remix, a Felix Cartal Remix, a Nick Thayer Remix, an Out Alive Remix, a Shreddie Mercury Remix and a Swanky Tunes Remix.
Clarity by Zedd featuring Foxes is a great EDM single that has been certified Platinum in the United States and Canada and even double Platinum in Australia.
