Let It Go is the title of a Disney song featured in the animation movie Frozen from 2013.
The lyrics and the music were written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and released on the 25th of November, 2013.
The piano and vocals parts were recorded during 2012 and the Rhythm section and the orchestra part were created during 2013. It was published by Wonderland Music Company and included on the Frozen album.

Originally and initially, the song was shown as performed by actress Idina Menzel, who starred in Frozen in the role of Queen Elsa.

It was praised by The Rochester City Newspaper, especially for the vocal skills of Idina Menzel. Entertainment Weekly also acclaimed the song, followed by a review from New York Daily News.
The Boston Globe praised the addictiveness of the free Let It Go piano sheets, which got very popular among teens.
Let It Go from Frozen also managed to win several other awards, such as a Critic’s Choice Awards for Best Song, a Phoenix Film Critics Society award for Best Original Song, and a Denver Film Critics Society award for Best Original Song. At the Radio Disney Music Awards, it also won the Favorite Song from a Movie or TV Show award.
