Bob Dylan is the one that wrote the lyrics of Make You Feel My Love, a song that initially appeared in 1997 on his album called Time Out of Mind.
However, Billy Joel was the one that first recorded, in the same year, and released commercially the song.
Because of the melodious notes of Make You Feel My Love, combined with suggestive words, the song has been appreciated and covered, with the pass of time, by numerous singers and it brought huge success to performers such as Kelly Clarkson, Bryan Ferry and, lately, Adele.

She recorded the song in 2008, and included it in her debut album, 19, being released on CD and vinyl, as the album’s fifth and final single, on 27 October 2008.

Besides Adele, the other two persons that should be mentioned when discussing Make You Feel My Love, are Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, whose covers were featured on the soundtrack of the 1998 film Hope Floats.
