"Summer of ‘69" is a famous song from the Canadian recording artist, Bryan Adams.
It was written by him and Jim Vallance.
The song is part of his fourth album, "Reckless" and was produced by Bob Clearmountain and Bryan Adams. It’s an up-tempo rock song, like most of his songs and it was released in June 1985.

It was also voted "the hottest Summer song" in Germany and the fourth best song of all time in 2000, by Canadian magazine "Chart".
In 2008, "Summer of ‘69" became Adams’ second highest ranked song, after "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You".
By the time it was launched, the single peaked number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a financial and commercial success. It topped the charts worldwide: Norway, Canada, US, Austria, Sweden and many others.
The song’s video was directed by Steve Barron and released in 1985. It won a nomination at the MTV Video Music Awards. Lysette Anthony and Garwin Sanford also appear in the music video.
"Summer of ‘60" features Keith Scott as the lead guitarist and also responsible for the backing vocals, Dave Taylor for the bass, Pat Steward for the drums, Tommy Mandel for the keyboards and Bruce Paulen for backing vocals.
