ACDC - Thunderstruck sheet music

When AC/DC started their career, some of us were too young, some of us didn’t exist yet.

This incredible Australian rock band was formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.

They call their music simply "rock and roll", but they generated incredible songs also as hard rock, blues rock, or heavy metal.

Their first album is named High Voltage and was released in 1975.

AC/DC has sold more than 200 million records worldwide and they are considered the ninth-highest-selling artist in the US and the 16th worldwide.

Today we chose one of their songs to present to you and maybe convince you to try it at your piano at home.

Thunderstruck is a song by AC/DC, released in September 1990, as part of the band’s album named The Razors Edge.

The free Thunderstruck piano sheet music is the lead single of the album, was released through ATCO studios, and is considered a hard rock music genre song.

As a single, Thunderstruck has the song Fire Your Arms on its B-side and was released in Australia, Germany, and Japan and peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.

The song has a length of 4:52 minutes and it was written by Angus Young and Malcolm Young, with the production of Bruce Fairbairn.

Looking into the song’s composition, we are enchanted by elements like the great vocals of AC/DC through Brian Johnson, Malcolm Young, and Cliff Williams, guitar by Angus Young, bass and rhythm guitar, drums and percussion by Chris Slade.

Because of its success, the free Thunderstruck piano sheets have been featured in media in TV commercials, movies, and TV Shows, for example in Iron Man 2, Deadpool 2, Delivery Man, My Name Is Earl, or Training Day.

The song has also a music video, directed by David Mallet and filmed in London.
