Muse, one of our favorite English rock bands, is here today presenting you their song New Born.
Muse was formed in Devon in 1994 and it consists of Matt Bellamy in charge with the leading vocals, guitar and keyboards, Chris Wolstenholme – bass and backing vocals, and Dominic Howard – as a drummer.
The band has been active in the music world since 1994 and released their debut album in 1999 – Showbiz, singing mainly rock music genres.
The band has won numerous awards, including two Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, and eight NME Awards.
For today’s article, we thought of bringing in your home the free New Born piano sheets.
This is a song by Muse, released for the band’s second studio album named Origin of Symmetry.
New Born was recorded in 2001 and released in the same year in June, as the second single from the album, and also included in the Hullabaloo Live DVD.
Once released, the song became a commercial success and peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart.
Looking into the free New Born piano sheet music composition, we learn that the song was released as progressive metal and art rock music genres song, with a length of 6:03 minutes in the album version and 4:38 minutes in the radio edit version.
The song combines elements like rhythm and leading guitar, keyboards, bass, and drums and in the original recording, Muse tried Bellamy’s voice as the arpeggios instead of the piano, but in the end, they changed their mind and removed it post-recording.
New Born was written in the key of E minor and starts with a fast tempo of 147bpm, increasing afterward during each verse.
When trying to understand the story behind the lyrics, we stopped at Wolstenholme’s statement:
It is a good live track. I think it's one of the songs which showcases the experimental side of the band. It is not really a conventional pop song. I think a lot of the reason for choosing these songs is that we went for the heavier, more direct kind of songs rather than going for anything too mellow
