The Carpenters were a very loved and well-known band made of two members – Karen and Richard Carpenter.
Their music is still loved nowadays, even if the band was most active between 1969 and 1983.

They were originally from America, born in Connecticut, and lived in California. Their story ended in 1983 when Karen died from heart failure.
